Shuffle Online Casino

At Shuffle Master -> SHFL entertainment -> Bally Technologies (Aquired again after I left by Scientific Games), I helped create a 'thin client' for online adult gaming. The games usually took the shape of IP that had already proven its viablity in the brick and mortar world. Games reproduced included Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker, Fortune Paigow, and about ten others.
Technologies/languages included: Flash, AS3, Javascript, and PHP.
Journey

I worked as part of the Journey team for 13 months. My primary focus included game editing tools and workflow improvements related to technology. Journey won a multitude of awards, and most notably received several "game of the year" awards.
It was an excellent experience where I worked with extremely talented people.Creo Forma
Creo Forma won 1st place in the Intel/Havok game demo contest. Take a look.
Creo is physics puzzle game in which you must create and experiment to succeed. You've gotta help Creo home from school each day! And for an extra challenge see if you can collect his friends too!
The new version of this is avaliable on the indiePub website, check it out!
C++ and DirectX
Afterlife

Created in XNA. A game where you play a seaman turned undead. Trying to please Sea God Steve so he'll make you normal.
This game features a rough AI structure, people will respond to your actions. You can make friendships, or enemies. You choose.
Eternal Elements

This game was also a joint effort between my friend Pete Angstadt and myself. It was created with Microsoft's XNA. Pete and I both worked on programming, he did the art, and I did the sound. Devon Zachary with the music, as always. Here's a nice description copied straight off of Pete's site describing it:
"In this game, you play as a young mage trying to escape a treacherous forest, by yourself, or with 3 of your friends (we supported 4 player co-op). Through the forest flows different types of mana: fire, water, earth, air. Each enemy is weak to a certain type and players can use this to their advantage, since they can change their mana type at will."
Solar Attraction

Using Haaf's Game Engine, Made for the Experimental Gameplay Contest #3 (EGC3), the theme was Attraction. You control the orbit of planets around a sun, don't let the planets collide!
Dead Ocean

This game was a join effort with my roommate and friend Pete Angstadt. This was an entry for GameDev's 4E5 competition. You may see some things (like the Ramboat) that isn't quite finished, but we got 1st in technical!
Dead Ocean is a frantic 2D side scrolling pirate adventure. Players take the role of a pirate captain who will stop at nothing to destroy his enemies, capture treasure and forts, and upgrade his ship.
Mike Man

Mike Man is a Pac Man clone.
Mostly an inside joke game, but it's still playable. I think this only has two levels built for it.
Masteroid

An Asteroid clone. With local two player support.
Walk Around

This is a console maze game. Freshmen year my power supply died.. I spent a good handful of hours in a computer lab and ended up building this just for fun. It still makes me laugh.
Road

A get 5 miles without hitting another car game... Requires V-sync enabled to run properly.
Snake

A classic snake game, eat mice get bigger. I liked snake games, and I was learning to stretch my game programming legs. However, the input is a little delayed.
Rubix

I built this back when I was in high school, this was my first experience with graphics programming. Very near and dear to my heart.
